1. About Paxxim and this site

paxxim.com tells you about Paxxim, lets you join our waitlist and lets organizations contact us. Paxxim is operated by [legal operator name]. Paxxim is software for landlords and renters. It is not a real estate brokerage, property manager, lender or law firm, and nothing on this site means we manage a property or collect rent for anyone.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter a binding contract.

3. Waitlist, Founding Landlord program and inquiries

Joining the waitlist or sending a form does not make you a customer or guarantee access, a launch date, features, pricing or any program benefit. Dates and plans on the site are targets and may change. Offers such as the Founding Landlord program are subject to terms we give you when you are accepted, and we may change or end them before then. What you submit must be accurate and yours to share.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law or use the site to harass anyone;
• submit false information or someone else's details without their permission;
• use bots or scripts to submit forms, or get around our bot check;
• scan, probe or test the site's security, or try to get into systems you are not meant to reach;
• copy or scrape the site at scale;
• interfere with how the site works or impersonate another person or business.

5. Our content and brand

The site's text, design, the Paxxim name and the Paxxim logo belong to us or our licensors. You may view the site, link to it and print pages for your own use. Anything else needs our written permission.

If you send us ideas or feedback, you give us a free, non-exclusive, permanent right to use them without owing you anything.

6. Information, not advice

The site gives general information only. It is not legal, tenancy, tax, financial or real estate advice. Rules for landlords and renters differ by country and region, and they change. Check the rules that apply to you or ask a professional.

7. Links to other sites

We may link to sites we do not run. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.

8. The site is provided as is

We provide the site "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will always work, be error-free or be complete and current. Where the law does not allow us to exclude a warranty, it applies only as far as the law requires.

9. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, data or opportunities, from your use of the site or inability to use it. Our total liability for any claim connected to the site is limited to C$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

10. Changes and suspension

We may change the site, suspend access or update these terms at any time. We will post updates here with a new effective date. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Alberta have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where your local consumer law gives you rights we cannot take away.

12. General

These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the site. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something, we have not given up the right to. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours to a company that takes over Paxxim, including a company the founders later incorporate for it.
